As one of the founding partners of Bross Bennett, Ruth has specialised in family law since 1990. She qualified in 1982 and became a partner at a large central London practice in 1986, in the litigation department and undertook both private client and commercial cases. After setting up a niche family law practice in 1994, Ruth merged firms with Sharon Bennett to found Bross Bennett in north London, in 1998, with a common mission to provide trustworthy and principled family law advice.
Ruth has acted in many high profile and complex cases – often with an international dimension. She specialises in thorny financial and multi-jurisdictional cases, which often involve children. Ruth is a trained mediator and collaborative lawyer.
