Michelle is an integrative psychotherapist and consultant to organisations. She has over 18 years of clinical and managerial experience in statutory adult mental health services. She contributes to various mental health professional panels and platforms, to include being recently elected to the Board of Governors for the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust.
Michelle’s clinical training includes Art Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused therapy, and Acceptance Compassionate Therapy. She achieves results by adapting her clinical skill set to offer a bespoke therapeutic intervention and experience. Her qualifications include a Certificate in the fundamentals of psychotherapy and counselling (Regents University) Post graduate diploma in Art Psychotherapy (Goldsmiths, University of London) and MA in Psychoanalytic approaches to Organisations (Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust). She is a member of HCP.
Michelle sees her role as being there to help clients navigate the stages of change and loss while supporting their right to achieve a confident life within which they can regain control and move forward. Having such emotional scaffolding allows them to spend their time with their lawyer focusing productively on their legal and financial interests.
Michelle’s strength-based enablement perspective is underpinned by her belief in every person’s prerogative to live the life they choose and desire. It’s a process that takes openness to challenge on the part of the client, but the gains can be amazing.
