Biography

Katie studied law at the University of Sussex, where she earned her LLB in 2010, followed by her LPC from the College of Law Guildford in 2011. She qualified as a Solicitor in 2017 having completed her training contract at a regional firm.

Prior to specialising in family law, Katie gained extensive experience as a commercial lawyer working in-house at a FTSE 250 company, dealing with an array of commercial, corporate, and marketing issues. While on maternity leave, she founded a business aimed at assisting women in navigating their pregnancy and early motherhood, ensuring they are aware of their rights and understand the maternity system.

Her journey in the legal sector began at Bross Bennett as a paralegal back in 2012, and Katie is delighted to be returning to the team and focusing on family law. She is particularly drawn to this field because of her passion for making a substantial difference in people’s lives, providing strength and confidence during their most challenging times.

Katie is esteemed for her compassionate, practical, and supportive approach to clients. She is recognised her for her creative problem-solving skills and her commitment to guiding them through difficult periods with grace and pragmatism.
