Katherine is a Trainee Solicitor who aspires to become a practicing family law solicitor with a focus on children. Following years of experience working in childcare, Katherine has seen the impact of legal proceedings first-hand and how this can affect children specifically.
She was drawn to family law as she wants to make a difference in people’s lives and is passionate about helping families through challenging and dynamic circumstances. At Bross Bennett, Katherine is surrounded by colleagues who share this same passion. Upon qualification she would like to focus on Arrangements for Children, International Relocation and Domestic Abuse.
Her most notable achievements to date include emotionally supporting a mother throughout a three day in-person hearing while working closely with counsel to get the best result and attending a hearing before a high court judge at the Royal Courts of Justice (RCJ).
