Biography

Corinne Sweet is a trained, experienced psychologist, pyschotherapist and counsellor working in a London private practice. She is a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP).  She sees both individuals and couples at City Therapy Rooms and Barnsbury Therapy Rooms and can also work online (Zoom). 

Corinne has an ‘Integrated Humanistic’ approach as she did a Diploma (MSC level) at Birkbeck in Jungian Psychotherapy, is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Gestalt. She is also an author of over 25 books, including bestsellers such as ‘Change Your Life with CBT’, ‘How to say No’, and ‘Overcoming Addiction’. She is also an expert on Mindfulness and handling anxiety (The Mindfulness Journal, The Anxiety Journal, Two-Minutes to Peace, Confidence, Sleep). 

Corinne has worked extensively with lawyers and is herself a divorced working mother.  She believes everyone deserves to be heard by a skilled listener, especially whilst dealing with sensitive and difficult legal matters close to home.  Her service is confidential, supervised and bound by BACP’s Code of Ethics.
