Sarah Clarke

Sarah qualified in September 2004, having trained at the commercial law firm, Reynolds Porter Chamberlain. Since qualification, she has specialised in family law working first at the leading human rights firm Bindman & Partners. She joined Bross Bennett in April 2008 for a new challenge.

Sarah has expertise in both financial matters on divorce and separation and issues relating to children on the breakdown of a relationship. She has been involved in some complex children cases including cases where there are allegations of sexual abuse, domestic violence, the threat of abduction and where one parent has alienated the child against the other parent. She acted for the partner of a mother in a same relationship in a long running, ground breaking children case which went all the way to the House of Lords.

She also has experience in international cases, in particular parental child abduction and has been regularly instructed by the International Child Abduction and Contact Unit.

She studied Classics at Jesus College, Cambridge before deciding to become a lawyer.
